The Greatest Day Of My Life

The greatest day of my life was when I repented of my sins, surrendered my life to Christ and made Him the Lord of my life. That was forty-one years ago and I remember it like it just happened yesterday.

Wave after wave of love and joy unspeakable enveloped my entire being, as I experienced the fullness of God’s love. Never before had I experienced such immense feelings of peace and well-being. It was truly heavenly.

From that day on, I began sharing with others how Jesus had changed my life and how He could change theirs too. Not only had He forgiven my sins and set my feet on the path of righteousness, but He revealed to me His divine purpose for what would later become my life’s work. Once the decision was made to fully surrender everything to Christ, I never looked back. Not even during those grievous seasons of trial – which we all experience – not even then. In fact, those trials only served to galvanize my ever growing biblical convictions and commitment to Christian service.
